Who We Are

Marne River Maine Coons is a small, family centered cattery devoted to preserving the beauty, health, and gentle nature of the Maine Coon breed. What began as a love for these remarkable cats grew into a passion for raising kittens who bring warmth and companionship to the families they join. Our mission is simply to raise gentle and well socialized kittens in our home with love, intention, and a holistic approach.

Kittens grow up in the heart of our household, where they experience daily affection, enrichment, and the natural rhythms of family life. Because they are part of our everyday routine, they become confident, social, and deeply people oriented from the start.

Health and well being guide every decision we make. Our breeding parents are DNA tested and regularly screened through heart and hip evaluations to promote strong and healthy lines. We work closely with our veterinarian and follow a thoughtful, whole cat philosophy of care that includes nutrition, enrichment, and emotional development. Transparency and ethical practices are core values, and we welcome conversations with families about our process.

Each of our cats is loved for who they are. Their individual temperaments, quirks, and strengths shape our program and help us raise kittens who are well balanced and ready to thrive in their new homes. We believe that welcoming a kitten means welcoming a new companion, and we strive to match each kitten with a family who will cherish them.
