This litter feels wonderfully familiar, with two classic brown tabby boys and two beautiful torbie girls, the same combination of colors we welcomed in our first litter.
Brown tabby is the original and most iconic coloring of the Maine Coon, with the rich, earthy tones and bold markings so closely associated with the breed. Our torbie girls add their own variation, combining those classic tabby markings with warm touches of red that make each coat completely unique.
As much as they may look alike at first glance, each of these four has his or her own markings, expressions, and personality. We’re looking forward to watching those differences become even more apparent as they grow.

We’ll be watching Pipet closely over the coming weeks as a possible future addition to Marne River. At this age, there is still so much to learn about how she will develop, both physically and in temperament, so no decision has been made. If we decide she isn’t the right fit for our future plans, she may become available.

Our little adventurer from the start. We suspect Rook’s umbilical cord wrapped around the tip of his tail, causing him to lose a small portion. We don’t yet know whether the difference will even be noticeable as he grows. This handsome brown tabby boy is otherwise doing beautifully and already a family favorite.

Our easygoing little guy. So far, Martin seems to take everything in stride. This handsome brown tabby boy has been the most relaxed of the Little Birds and is perfectly content to settle into a pair of hands.

Our beautifully marked girl. Wren is one of our two torbies and among the biggest kittens in the litter. Her warm patches of red woven through her tabby coat are already especially striking.
